Pastor Matt Dubensky

Associate Pastor, St. Peter Lutheran Church and School

Pastor Matt is the Associate Pastor of St. Peter. He grew up in Jackson, Michigan, and attended Trinity Lutheran School from Kindergarten through 8th grade—an experience that deeply shaped his heart for Lutheran education. He graduated from Concordia University Ann Arbor in 2015 and went on to attend Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, where he met his wife, Addie. They were married in 2019 and were soon called to serve in Chicago Heights, Illinois, where Pastor Matt was the sole pastor of both St. Paul’s and Immanuel Lutheran Churches.

In November 2023, Pastor Matt began his ministry at St. Peter. Just two weeks after their move to Schaumburg, he and Addie welcomed their first child, Samuel, on December 4, 2023. They are thrilled to raise him as part of the St. Peter family.

Pastor Matt has a strong passion for relational ministry and for sharing the Gospel in meaningful and impactful ways—locally, regionally, and globally. As part of his ministry at St. Peter, he teaches religion alongside the middle school teachers, helping guide students in their faith walk and biblical understanding while building strong connections with the next generation.

Mrs. Mary Bahn

Middle School Art Teacher & Communications Director
St. Peter Lutheran School, Schaumburg

Mary Bahn brings a deep connection to St. Peter as an alumna, parent, and current staff member. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Photography from Columbia College Chicago and has a passion for visual storytelling, both through art and her role as Communications Director.

For the past two years, Mary has also served as the Middle School Art Teacher, where she shares her love for art, nature, and creativity with her students. Her goal is to inspire young minds to express themselves and see the beauty in the world God has created. Mary is grateful to be part of a school that nurtures faith, learning, and artistic expression.

Mr. Chad Fradenburg

Chad Fradenburg is a dynamic educator who brings heart, rhythm, and movement into every corner of St. Peter Lutheran School. As the gym, health, and music teacher, Chad is passionate about nurturing students’ physical wellness, musical creativity, and overall well-being. His unique blend of structure and spontaneity helps students thrive both in the classroom and beyond. Chad holds a degree in Legal Studies from Grand Valley State University, but his true calling has always been working with young people. For the past seven years, he’s been a driving force in Schaumburg’s recreational youth baseball community, coaching and mentoring with the same enthusiasm he brings to his teaching. At home, Chad is a devoted husband to Jennifer and proud father of two: Lily, a recent graduate of St. Peter Lutheran School, and Alex, who currently attends. Whether he is leading a spirited gym class, striking up a chord in music, or cheering from the sidelines, Chad is deeply committed to helping students grow in character, confidence, and community.
